We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile application.

  • Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency


  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

  • Proven working experience in software development (minimum five years)

  • Working experience in iOS development (minimum three years)

  • Expert at Objective C, experience with Swift, and Cocoa Touch

  • iPhone and iPad Universal apps

  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Heroku 

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands on full stack development experience with NodeJS, Angular, Express and MongoDB (MEAN stack) or equivalent

  • Interfacing with JSON REST APIs

  • Ability to work closely with Designers

  • Experience with AutoLayout, size classes, story boards

  • Experience with Git as a version control system

  • Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text

  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

  • Understanding of video streaming and/or implementation of video streaming in iOS apps is a huge plus

  • Ability to work as part of a geographically-distributed development team

  • Flexibility, teamwork, sense of humor and the willingness to do what's necessary to help a relatively small company grow

Other things that would be nice to have

  • Experience with Collection+JSON

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks

  • Experience or minimal ability with Android SDK

  • Facebook integration using the Facebook iOS SDK

  • Ability to read and understand Ruby and Rails code
